I'm going to Malawi (East-Africa) with Edukans Going Global! Edukans is a bit like Unicef, but more focused on getting kids a proper education.

School introduced the Edukans project to us, they said one person would be chosen to actually go there. And so the battle began, I wrote a formal letter to Malawi and with five other pupils I was chosen to present myself and have an interview with some people from Edukans. Out of six, four people were chosen to present themselves again. I was one of them, and presented myself using my photography and writings, as was asked. Out of four, one would be chosen. Yesterday I heard , in front of the entire school (well except for the first 2 grades but who cares about them anyway), that I was the one person chosen to go to Malawi. I was like..

''What? Nah!''

So, during the holidays in February/March, I will go to Malawi to learn about educationprojects and development-aid. I'm expected make pictures and write all day long, happily I happen to love both. I'll do a big presentation about the trip at my school (which is, to be honoust, already freaking me out), that way I am suppose to motivate them to get donations for Edukans.

I am so happy!

I'm off to Utrecht now. I was going there for a date but the date has been canceled so now I'm just going there to meet some friends. Oh well, good thing about meeting friends is that you already now it'll be big fun.
